PhD

I received my B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley. As an undergrad, I worked with Professor Markita Landry and leveraged machine learning to identify DNA-based aptamer for neurotransmitter detection. Ultimately, my work enables the development of DNA-carbon nanotube hybrid nanosensors with high spatiotemporal resolutions. Since joining the Gang Group in 2022, I have been working on engineering reconfigurable/stimuli-responsive nanomaterials (eg. nanostructured Bragg Reflectors) by utilizing the DNA origami-based self-assembly platform to organize optically active nanoparticles.
