Join us on March 6 at 6:30 p.m. ET in the Vagelos Education Center, Room 902 for Bioethics in Film: From Screen to Seminar. We will be discussing the psychological thriller Hereditary (2018), directed by Ari Aster, focusing on the film’s exploration of bioethics and mental health.

The film will be screened at 4 p.m. ET, before the main event in the same room. You can also stream Hereditary online through Netflix, Prime Video, AppleTV, and other subscription services. To enrich our discussion, please watch the film in advance of the seminar.

Bioethics in Film: From Screen to Seminar uses popular films, documentaries, and television as tools for exploring critical issues under the broad umbrella of bioethics. We welcome anyone to attend these events to engage in multidisciplinary conversation with bioethics experts and other specialists.
